Long Journey is a cute platform game. From the gameplay side, there are a lot of jambs, shortcomings and bugs. You can highlight the soundtrack, it is 10/10. Not bad, and on the topic of rock, it just allows you to stick around for an hour and listen to music.

Long Journey is a short and difficult precision platformer. To start things off, the graphics are very basic and definitely assets. You are a (skeleton?) collecting donuts, avoiding shruiken from samurais who are holding swords (???) and you finish the game after reaching a few cakes? Also get ready for offscreen projectiles, jumps that baits you to your death, horrible controls where you stick to walls the second you approach them (and hit spikes or shurikens after wiggling out of your charcter being stuck), multiple jumps where you have to guess where you land. Let's not forget pixel-perfect jumps where your character refuses to jump if you're too close to the ledge! Oh and the reviews are mostly fake. They all mention it's a great platformer that you can play for a few hours and you can fully complete the game in 20 minutes or less. This is definitely not worth $5 and it's also not long at all... but hey, the one soundtrack is not bad on the other hand. Overall, short buggy precision platformer with cheap death mechanics.

Long Journey is a compact indie platformer developed and published by The Lost Truth Media, built around a simple but charming premise that blends humor with old-school challenge. You step into the bony shoes of a determined skeleton whose singular motivation is collecting sweets, particularly doughnuts, scattered throughout a dangerous world filled with traps and hostile threats. While the concept leans into playful absurdity, the gameplay itself is anything but careless. Beneath the lighthearted surface lies a precision-driven platforming experience that demands careful timing, observation, and repeated practice. At its core, Long Journey follows a traditional side-scrolling structure. Each level presents a sequence of jumps, hazards, and enemy encounters that must be navigated with deliberate movement. Spikes, pits, and roaming adversaries punish hesitation and sloppy execution, often sending players back to retry sections until they fully understand the layout. The controls are tight and responsive, which is crucial for a game that relies so heavily on precision. When failures occur, they feel like the result of mistimed input rather than mechanical unfairness. This clarity of…
