About GraveBoy CrowFeet - A Quest for Skulls

"It was a dusky day like any other in the Boneyard..."
Help GraveBoy CrowFeet, an undead lad, to save his father from the clutches of a demon! Explore the land between life and death to collect 10 rare skulls. Talk to ghosts, dig for bones, get cursed by a witch, be mean to ants... Wait, don't do that last one.
GraveBoy CrowFeet - A Quest for Skulls is a spooky fun adventure with focus on exploration and light puzzling.
Gameplay: Walk, talk, collect items! No need to combine items via inventory, items will be used automatically whenever they're needed. No stress, no combat, no Game Overs. Because GraveBoy can't die, he's already (un)dead.Goal: Find 10 rare skulls and save your father from that demon! Some items let you unlock new areas, some items are used to solve puzzles. There is also an alternate way to reach the ending.... Ooohhh.
Game Length: 1-3 Hours.

Sometimes you find that free game on steam that turns out to be absolutely delightful from start to finish, could have been a $10 game. I think the game had fun dialogue, good character design, and actually very intuitive puzzles for the most part, I liked that you color coded the important parts. There have been hundreds of similar games over the years, more on the RPG-maker side, but many of them are either too slow, or don't use original art, so for me this game was much better because it never got boring, I never felt like the game was dragging along, and the locations were always enjoyable to explore. There were some nice quality of life features which I think many games in the medium don't do as well, such as the button for teleporting back home, color-coding, convenient save stations, and the custom inventory with additional hints. Overall it feels like you thought of everything, considering it's a free game, it felt really nice to play and focus on the narrative because there was nothing frustrating or distracting on the mechanical side. More than anything else, I think the world had a very playful vibe to it with the characters constantly probing and poking at you with …

Very fun game! Atmospheric and beautiful, reminds me of a game I would play on the DS. OST is very enjoyable. Gameplay is a bit janky, but that’s the charm to it. Puzzles are very fun too. Got stuck on a few, but overall very fun game!!

this game is literally so cute, i love the art style! it was a good length and the puzzles werent too hard to be enjoyable or so easy that theyre boring. a great experience from a free game! the one criticism i have is that finally getting past kaim is kinda lackluster for all the build-up it had. regardless, i think theres def room for more content in this world and i would 100% play a sequel or another related game!
