I lost count on which Lost Lands this, so... A continuation of the series if you will. More other worlds. More danger and fun. There is also a shop this time around (the amount of money will *always* tell you which item you need... Or just per in game need) and you can leave tracks in the snow as you walk. Now... While everything is fine and good... I have to disagree with one part:
They killed off Fulgur! THE DWARF! THE AWESOME MF THAT WIELDS THE GIANT HAMMER!!!!!!!! WHY???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And then you think... "Oh, in the Bonus Game... That will be remedied." No. They fill in the gap of what happened to the Moo Mage, after the fight with the Four Horsiedman. Damn it...! The only thing that can save these series... Is IF they continue to have fun/interesting gameplay and/or... Put a good lookin' guy in there. I guess I shouldn't really complain... As things are far worse in video games nowadays anyway. Still a win though. Eh.2 found this helpful
Excellent game. It follows the usual format for a HOG. It has a fast-travel map. The hidden object scenes are all the more interactive kind, rather than just a list of items to find. (I like both kinds of hidden object scenes.) The mini puzzles are good. The story and animation is very good for the genre. There is quite a bit of back and forth, but not too much. (I think the previous game in the series had a little bit too much, although it was still a very good game.) I personally don't like it when it's too linear. This was definitely not too linear for my tastes.1 found this helpful
Terrible. Not interesting at all.
excellent
When you don't want to wrack your brain to find solutions to some developer's sadistic mind benders and just want a casual afternoon of simple gaming, this series fits the bill. Colorful and logical, though each comes with a cheesy storyline, which can be skipped through.
The Lost Land series of games are fun to play, however, I find that they can only be played once. If I try to play a game over again, it does not let me collect the collectables/morphing objects again. This makes the game redundant as it's a big part of the experience. Does anyone know how to re-set or use a different player name??? Steam is unable to provide support/advise on this. Thx
