The game is okay as a top-down bullet hell even though the keyboard/mouse commands are awkward for the gameplay (you have to decide between walking to the right (D button) and doing the strong attack (hold F button)). I couldn't finish the game because it crashed and I got a message saying ``The UE-Top_down Game has crashed and will close. FATAL ERROR!´´ just as I shot the second generator on level 2. Since I've had problems before with dying and spawning in a locked room and having to start level 1 from 0 because there are no save points in between, I'm not going to finish the game, sorry. They should definitely revisit the spawn points and put in real save points, not just start the level from the beginning if you get stuck in a soft-lock. Personally, I hated the green tutorial-bot throughout level 1 and during level 2 it changes its way of speaking, which is good, but its presence becomes simply useless. Otherwise, the art is pretty cool. NT: Why if you want to go back to the menu you have to say “Yes, I hate puppies”? ... just, why?? ... Not a funny joke4 found this helpful

"Low Batt" is just another student project dumped onto the Steam store, one of thousands. It's from ESAT. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" games, we must still question what value they have for gamers. This isn't a fully fleshed out game. It's the result of an academic exercise and has much more limited value than a professionally developed game. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments. It helps their marketing and makes students feel good, but it puts the business before the needs of gamers. Usually with student projects, the students at least make a game, this time they failed, they couldn't work out how to complete the game so they dumped their unfinished homework assignment onto Steam so they could get their grades without any regard to the harm it causes to the industry when it's flooded with unfinished and abandoned games. When you can't make a complete product, you don't publish it anyway, this is the wrong thing to do... it's abuse of Early Access. You wouldn't buy a car the manufacturer didn't finish making, would you? "I wanted my car to have wheels and an engine." "Well," …
great game but had a fatal error 40 minutes in.
Alright, So this was the third game in my "Play & Review" Series on Youtube. This games voice acting, not great, but good enough. Story, very absent. Performance, Not great. Game play, very repetitive and boring after about 15 minutes. I wanted to be done with the game 20 minutes in. Not really any real mechanics besides dashing. I was looking for a better game but this ended up not being it. only 30 minutes of game play total. "unique and distinct", Is not what I would give this game. The 2 level's given are pretty much identical with a different layout. "Experience nice, polished and creative combat", This is not very creative as top-down shooters have been around for a while. It isn't polished either, controls are wonky and at times displayed the wrong controls. "Use machinery and traps to your advantage", There was no machinery to fight with and the only trap was the mine. "Fight against multiple types of unique enemies", There was only about 7 total types of enemies. Only 2 of them were different from the rest fight wise. The two unique was 1. a melee bot, and 2. a stationary turret. Other than that they were essentially the same just with a different look. As a game dev my…
Beautiful concept, nice game, bad optimization and crashes. Work on the bad parts and you will sell this game, a lot. The music is very nice.
