This was not bad, I guess? The puzzles weren't too obscure and were generally okay to figure out. You spend the whole time doing puzzles while the demon periodically gives you a little slap. Should we talk about his gigantic shlong, though?

This game has a few bugs in it like the monster attacking you without it appearing anywhere and some of the tasks being bugged or not working properly. But the main bug was that there was some kind of connectivity problem where me or my friend were kicked out of our game and it would not let us rejoin our party unless we closed and reopened the game. So there a few problems but hopefully they do fix them in the near future.

I received this for free through Keymailer! I played Solo for about an hour and a half. A couple of things that can be improved or that I wish were included: - A tutorial or help guide - a clear way of regaining sanity so that I am not dying every couple of minutes. Sometimes I died while I was just standing in the light - basic inventory system to hold more than one fuse - better Setting UI (I couldn't put the volume down because there is no scroll, just a dot. I tried to move the dot, but it still wouldn't budge) - More environmental cues when the demon is near/hunting - Better keybind interaction. Spacebar for jumping did not work. H for hiding did not work. Also H is too far from WASD for my personal liking to be an active button. But a clear way to hide from the Demon would be great. - I was trying to read the cards and enjoy the lore but I kept of getting jumpscared and my sanity drained. - Lockpicking instructions could be clearer, I eventually figured it out. As an early release game at $10 that needs a lot of work around a really cool concept (imagine Phasmophobia or similar ghost-hunting/detective game, remove the detective bit, add in puzzles to solve to escape from the ghost). The difficulty selections are nice too and I was able to beat each of them on the one map available at time of posting with a team size of 2 (me and a friend). We played for over 3 hours and were having a good time with it. The XP system to unlock perks on the skill tree is pretty cool too and offers replayability. Some things to note: -The Hide button (H) does not work anywhere. Even on closets you can open/close the doors of. So you have to consistently run from the AI enemy that quickly learns patterns of how you try and lose line of sight. -The AI enemy, on a couple occassions, actually opened the combination door (the one that lets you escape) for us and we were able to escape without completing all tasks. -Not necessarily a problem for me, but there are many popular assets used in this game. -The XP earned from some tasks is odd. Example: the wiring puzzle awards you a "task completed" for each connection you make; whereas the laser maze needs to …

I am not intelligent enough to play this game on my own, at least not at this point. It takes me too long to figure things out and my first time playing I burned a lot of time just reading instructions and notes. Time does not pause when you pick something up to read it. But if I ever get a friend to play this with I'm sure it would go over better.
