Genuinely a bit underwhelming considering their past works. The artwork in this game feels incohesive and maybe even lazy. Mixels are prevalent in the background (basically the scale of environmental assets are mismatched) and the character portraits are really the only appealing thing to look at. For the gameplay, it felt like there was a lot of potential to be made with diversifying decks and dice but the battles become so repetitive that the end result inevitably turns into a question of how quickly can you sweep the enemies with multi-hit cards. There are no bosses. For those interested in the nsfw content--not gonna lie, it's pretty disappointing. Similar to Tamer Vale, what you see in the trailer is what you get in-game except the content here is much more vanilla. Animations are mainly loops of several frames with not much action and the chibi sprites feel like a budget version of the stuff you'd see in Cloud Meadow. My personal recommendation? Firstly, I'd recommend playing the demo version first. You'll get about 45-60 mins of game time, which is enough for the basics. Plus, should you buy the full version any achievements earned will automatically unlock. The game's combat in brief: 35 monsters to defeat and add to your collection. The core game mechanic uses dice (d4, d8, d12, d20). You may take up to 8 dice depending on how you've spent your Etheriel points - EP (think XP in other games). Depending on which 5 monsters are part of your roster, as to how many times you may attack with each monster and what sort of dice score you're after. E.g. you may only capture by spending a dice with an EVEN roll and can only attempt once per turn. One of your earliest monsters may only attack on an ODD roll but will add +6 to +18 depending on it's level. Other cards may require the dice to be 2/3/4 or less to activate; these are typically support cards (steal, scare, ensare, etc). The more often you face the same foe, the stronger your card becomes - allowing it to strike more often, and possibly have better modifiers. Fun sex scenes, interesting combat, great pixel graphics, an intriguing plot, and a decoration mode. Honestly great. Just be aware that there's a weird sound bug when you first boot up the game, just toggle your volume buttons and it's fine.

I really want to like this one, and maybe someday, I'll change this review after a major update. As it currently stands, this is an alright game plagued by a brutal grindfest to unlock any of the meaningful scenes -- and only a handful of which I found alluring. The story is fun and silly, albeit a bit wordy. Can't help but feel like all these characters use 10 words where 1 will do, but they at least have distinct personalities and quirks to differentiate them (which applies to their sexual proclivities too). They're characters I'd like to see get up to horny shennanigans. But then the game starts and you're ushered to a themed environment where you'll wander around clicking on a billion materials to upgrade the next house or facility at the base to reach the next scene. This even applies to your "deck" -- combat is akin to Slay the Spire, where the monsters you woo become cards for your actions each turn. In order to upgrade them, you've got to "collect" (aka ♥♥♥♥) enough of the same monsters to reach an upgrade.
