Mad King Redemption

Okay. I'll be blunt. This is one of the best roguelikes I've ever played and it's Golden Axe coded? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ perfect. But a few issues that needs to be addressed. So first and for most, you guys have to fix the loading problem. I've lost a lot of progress for just trying to load an area and it stays infinite. That needs to be fix because that would kill people's enjoyment in a heart beat, I promise. So working out bugs should be top priority. The combat is fluid and buttery smooth so I have no complaints other than one implement. Grabs. Being able to grab an enemy and throw them should be a pretty basic thing and I hope something like that will happen in the future. The item variety and such is great but there's some items that mount leaning and I'll be real, there's not many mounts that appears. At least in my runs so, more variety for traits and such would be fantastic. Besides that, I high recommend grabbing this. Cause mark my words, if these developers keep at it? I can see this games immediately blowing up. For what I've played, this is beyond impressive for even just three people.

A promissing beat'em up with roguelike progression. Reminds me a bit of good old Golden Axe games.

So far pretty good. Wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed by the level of polish this game is at in EA. I can tell it's supposed to be pretty grindy. There's collecting money to upgrade stats and perks in between runs, much like Vampire Survivor. The background shifting perspective is done very well. Definitely makes exploring more interesting, allowing for more secrets to be found. Visually pleasing in general. There was a few moments where it kind of blocked your character, but only when there wasn't anywhere else to go so it did signal "go back to that door to continue." The game gives you a lot of space to maneuver, and you have options to move around the level pretty fast. You can run left and right, not up and down... I feel like maybe being able to run/dash up and down would benefit some areas. There's also some decent platforming sections. Combat overall was fun. Enemies progressively became more aggressive and intelligent. The boss fight I encountered was fun and unique. I forget what it's called, but your super special move where you go DBZ Super Sayan all over enemies was interesting... when you burn through your special meter you stop and collapse. That f…

Unique artwork and gameplay in the genre! Great work from the devs to keep improving it! Recommended!

a great beat em up in the vein of golden axe! love the grachics and sound. Turn brain off proceed to have fun!
