Solve puzzles, find clues, interrogate suspects, carry out arrests, and conduct interrogations at the police station. This pilot episode offers the genesis of possible future investigations and introduces you to all the key characters in the saga, including a scene where the two inspectors meet, the introduction of recurring characters such as Captain Hishiro, Landroch the geek panda, and Mr. Corbillot, the forensic vulture.

While some jokes won’t land due to French humor, you still want to take the funny duo on another case. The game follows a duck detective who voluntarily requests a transfer to the archive department because there is hardly little crime in the city. All of this changes when his new partner decides to lie down beneath a lamp. Now they both have to solve the new murder case that might be more complicated than expected. If you've ever played a point-and-click adventure before, you'll feel right at home. Although a gamepad is supported, using a mouse is far more convenient and enjoyable. This also makes it accessible to everyone because you mostly use the left mouse button to move around and interact with hotspots. Another useful feature that has become a standard in modern adventure games is the option to view all hotspots. On the one hand, this takes away the enjoyment of discovering something on your own. On the other hand, it eliminates the irritating item seeking and circumstances in which you become trapped because you failed to click on a key detail. Wonderful experience! Fun as well as an exciting up and down path in the investigation of a gruesome murder. Our detectives complement each other well, maybe just because they are quite the opposite characters. Though I am laughing a lot about actions, their conversations and more, the game is not easy peasy but offers nice challenges: the goal is obvious, yet the solution often special and that makes it even better.
