About Majestic Nights

Majestic Nights is an episodic action-adventure-thriller set in an alternate 1980s where all conspiracy theories, past and present, are True.

You play as Cardholder: an intelligence operative who may or may not have been present at or even responsible for many of the biggest conspiracy events in history; and Cal, a humble Private Investigator whose own past is shrouded in secrets unknown even to herself.

With fast, light mechanics, the game has been developed to engross players in a shadowy world of conspiracy with an over-the-top 1980s aesthetic. Players will use wits, stealth and sometimes even a little force to investigate, explore, and acquire ever more clues for their big string-covered wall of conspiracies.

Season One of Majestic Nights takes place over six chapters, which work as a complete story or as standalone experiences. ‘Chapter Zero’, a prologue to the series, will be made available for free. Each subsequent chapter of the core series will be paid, and season passes will also be available.

I have the badges, because they used to do the cool sideways glitch text thing, plus illuminati, but honestly DON'T buy this game It's supposed to be SIX episodes, only two exist, only two ever will exist, and it's downright rude that there is a "season pass" that only contains those two episodes, but costs twice as much as buying them individually. Definitely do not buy, especially do not buy the season pass

The game has low ratings. But for some reason I liked it. Especially the destruction of enemies. Inexplicable.

I love this game. Only reason Majestic score is a 32 on Meta Critic cause CIA threatened to Clinton them. I feel Majestic should be 71-75 Meta Critic. I would also like to shoot the guy who came up with escape the tent scene in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ knee cap.

Has a lot of charm as a small indie project, kind of like looking back on your high school LARP movies, even though the dialogue is cringe and the gameplay doesn't work. Don't pay too much for it, though.

Not really sure how this game got to my library in the first place, but it did. The fact that it's unfinished and would probably never be is a downer, of course, but when such games are already on my library I do not mind giving them a try anyway. While this game seems like it could be a part of a promising product, even the released content is highly clunky and feels unfinished and rough around the edges. For this, I didn't really have the patiend and gave up on what felt to me like 2\3 of chapter one. It's a real shame, because the writing is relatively ok, the story seems like to could go to interesting places, the characters look potentially intriguing, graphics look nice and combat seems like it COULD be fun. But it all doesn't really come to full relization. I would still give it thumbs up even with being incomplete product, if at least the playable parts were good enough, but unfortunately they feel unfinished as well, as I mentioned. Also, the full price also seems quite steep for the amount of contet you get (counting the "prologue" chapter, the game has 3 playable chapters and I believe each can be finished in around an hour or so).
