Absolutely loved the experience! Just note that this is really more of an interactive VR experience than a traditional game. I honestly don’t get people who buy this kind of experimental thing and then get mad that it’s exactly what it says it is.1 found this helpful
Manifest 99, developed and published by Flight School Studio, is an interactive VR narrative that prioritizes atmosphere and emotional storytelling over traditional gameplay. Rather than presenting itself as a game in the conventional sense, it unfolds more like a short, immersive experience—placing the player inside a surreal journey where observation and presence take precedence over action. It’s a title that uses virtual reality not to challenge the player mechanically, but to draw them into a carefully constructed emotional space. The setting is immediately striking. You find yourself aboard a train traveling through an otherworldly landscape, surrounded by passengers whose appearances and surroundings feel both symbolic and unsettling. 7/10 less then 20 mins. film, no words, no explanation but is so amazing you want to share it with your friend/family. the screenshots in store page make it seem dark, scary. its not. but, can only recommend at sale price.
I loved this, I found it very touching, poignant and there's no fat on this game at all. Get it half price if you can ($3 or something)
Well now, that wasn't what I was expecting, I'm thoroughly pleased though. That was a solid and emotional trip of a VR experience. This is not really a game mind you, it's more of like an interactive movie. It's worth the 5 dollar price tag, try to get it on sale if you can, but even then 5 bucks ain't bad for a 20 minute interactive story. It's amazing how much they could unpack in such a short amount of time. 10/10. Sit back and enjoy the story of Manifest 99 Make sure to wave.
