Bought this thinking “haha desktop cats, neat.” Ended up becoming a full-time landlord for tiny freeloaders. MaoMaoMao is weirdly good at making your PC feel alive without being annoying. The cats just hang out at the bottom of the screen while you do your actual responsibilities, which means I can pretend I’m being productive when really I’m checking whether one of my cats is sleeping again instead of using the expensive bed I bought it. The typing-to-earn-coins idea is honestly genius. I write one email, the cats get richer. I code for 20 minutes, suddenly I’m funding a small feline economy. This game has somehow turned my keyboard into a part-time job for cats, and I respect that. Also, I expected “cute pet app” and got way more personality than I thought. Different cats, weird little quirks, room and garden, toys, furniture, scratchers, and the constant possibility that your decorative choices will be judged by a pixel animal with zero income. Incredible. Best part: it stays chill. No stress, no punishment, no nonsense. Just little cats vibing at the bottom of your screen like they pay rent.
