"Mapstermind" was a failed attempt at making some kind of low poly party game, and with such mediocre graphics and a somewhat unclear premise, and a bit of a "mobile app" appearance, it's no surprise this failed to appeal to gamers. What do you do in the game? In reality, nothing, there's nobody playing this. In the developers mind, hundreds and thousands of gamers would be playing matches where three players do various pointless minigames while a third player, the "mapstermind", a pair of hands, places traps and tries to screw with the other players. Why? Nobody knows. Is there any point to this? Not that anyone can see. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. Insultingly, the developer insists that you should play this with a console peasant children's toy gamepad instead of KB+M. You cannot play this without a…
