About Masters of Albion
There is no single solution. Only yours.Masters of Albion is a god game where you don’t just shape the world - you can step into it.Build your town, guide your people and decide how Albion survives. Every choice has consequences, and no two paths are the same...Old Albion is gone - swept aside by the advance of modern technology. But magic was never truly lost...Now it returns, creeping back into the world, draining the life from its people and reshaping everything it touches. You are chosen to wield its power.Granted the abilities of a god, you must guide, protect and shape Albion as you see fit - building a world strong enough to withstand what’s coming. An ancient force is rising.
What you create will decide whether Albion survives it. As a god, you shape every part of your town.Design and place buildings wherever you choose.
If you build it, it works - instantly.Roam freely across the world of Albion.See everything from above - or step into the lives of your people and experience it from the ground. Take control of heroes, workers, animals and more as you explore in real time.Complete quests, uncover hidden treasures, and venture into underground caves where danger waits.Craft weapons and armour to strengthen your heroes, and prepare them for what lies ahead. From quiet moments to unexpected encounters - whether you’re exploring, fighting, or yes… kicking chickens - Albion is yours to discover.Take control with the God Hand - and shape Albion however you choose.
Reward your people - or push them to their limits.Unleash devastating abilities when needed.
Strike enemies with lightning. Set the world ablaze. Crush threats with whatever is within reach. From careful guidance to outright destruction, the choice is always yours. This is what it means to wield real power. When night falls, Albion is under threat.Creatures emerge from the dark, descending on your towns and tearing through everything in their path. With the power of a god, you decide how to defend it.Build and arm defensive structures to hold the line.
Position heroes where they’re needed most.
Raise walls to slow the advance - or funnel enemies into carefully planned choke points.
Step in directly when the pressure builds.
Strike with lightning. Set fire to advancing hordes.
Grab whatever is at hand - boulders, barrels and more - and turn it against them.Or take control of your heroes and face the threat head-on.Every night is a test.
What you’ve built will only survive if you defend it.

I grew up playing the "black and white" games and fell in love with that style of game. Im stocked to see more games like that coming out now. BUT...This game needs optimization more than anything. My PC Specs are posted with this review. There should be ZERO issue playing this at over 100 frames. If my PC wont run it then I pray for the reasonable person who didn't irresponsibly buy a stupid expensive machine. The gameplay in the first hour is fun and I have enjoyed my time but the elephant in the room is imposable to ignore. Having to put settings on medium to break 60fps and god forbid that i use a spell like lightning...hello powerpoint. I'm enjoying the game and will keep trying to squeeze some frames in without making the game look bad but again it should not be a chore and the devs need to do better. If you can get by the Piss poor job of optimization and enjoy it then its worth a look. If not the i would steer clear of this one.13 found this helpful
Hey everyone! Long story short, this game is a blast. People who played Black & White 1 and 2 had massive expectations, and after all these years, we finally got something similar. The only real issue is that Black & White was way ahead of its time, so topping a masterpiece like that is tough. The story isn't boring at all, the quests are super engaging, and being able to explore in third-person is an awesome touch. Plus, the soundtrack is absolutely magical the whole way through.I saw some previous comments where people complained about the game stuttering and getting terrible FPS on max settings, even with rigs way beefier than mine (I've attached my specs below). Honestly, it's weird to me because I cranked everything up to Ultra and I'm getting a rock-solid 90 FPS.Of course, there’s still room for improvement, but once this game is fully cooked and out of early access, it’s going to be an absolute banger. Keep up the great work, devs!1 found this helpful

It is like Black and White, but not the same....just the same developer. I appreciate this team for what they've done just to scratch the itch of B&W for the people that loved the game.... This game needs a time adjuster, but is still in development, so the future will tell all!
Just love it♥ its loads oh GREAT games in 1 :))
Still early access but have put in about 24 hours so far and when you get around some of the janky controls there is a really enjoyable game loop. Some of the night time fights are way harder then others but over time balancing will come down the time so for early access if you loved Dungeon Keeper would recommend giving it a go.
