Maverta Muerte

A simple halloween-themed puzzle game at the cost of $10 USD? No thank you. Maverta Muerte presents a top-down layout of a map where you have to kill the monsters to get to the prize item. But the controls themselves feels off, because of how the map is rotated. So the down direction key/click makes the character appear to move leftwards, for example. It can get confusing if you're not adjusted to the angle of the view. The gameplay was smooth, with no lag as far as I can tell. However, the buttons like the restart and skip option is unresponsive when I click on it and it takes multiple tries until the game responds. Despite the simple and decent 3D background map, and characters, I don't see a reason why the devs should ask for that price though. You can find the same puzzle games like these online, on gaming sites like Armorgames, Newgrounds, etc. for free too. So I can't recommend it.

2.5/10 + English language IS supported - 10$ - get solution thing you can buy with 100 coins, doesn't work. sends my person in the wrong direction - get hint you can buy for 50 coins that does the same movements as the solution but less of them + can pay 1 coin to undo 1 move - cant undo move if last move got you killed - undo pulls me into a spike trap that should have went back down - undo move makes a large white box of image missing appear over sprung spike traps.

Even if this wasn't essentially a mobile game, the $10 price tag is simply unreasonable for a game such as this.

The mazes are monotonous, the controls are inconvenient, and the mechanics are boring. Overall, it's not what I expected from these 300 levels.

Maverta Muerte is a solid pick if you’re into indie puzzle games that emphasise movement, logic and maze‑based challenges. It doesn’t try to be everything—it’s modest in ambition and design—but for what it aims to do, it does a good job. If you’re looking for a relaxing yet engaging puzzle experience and don’t need flashy visuals or a big story, this game offers value and a substantial amount of content. Score: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 out of 5)
