About Mazement

Mazement is a ball rolling game that combines a fantasy story with the traditional wooden labyrinth and platformer games. Mazement boasts fully 3D graphics and interesting physics-based gameplay, including destructible environments. The player controls the tilt of the level to guide the ball safely through increasingly difficult mazes filled with puzzles, traps, enemies and secrets.

Coins can be collected to purchase different power-ups from the power-up shops in the hub levels. These power-ups allow the player to blast through walls or float across gaps. In the storyline the player sets out on a quest to free his ball friends from the tyranny of the evil pyramid and his cube minions.

Features:
  • 30 sprawling levels filled with puzzles, dangers and excitement
  • Physics-based gameplay, including destructible environments
  • Fun and quirky storyline with beautiful illustrations
  • Collectible coins and power-ups to augment yourself
  • Upgrade yourself with power-ups from the in-game shop
  • Fight unique and powerful bosses

It is an interesting physic game where you move the ground around for the ball to roll. I would have actually liked it (and I say this as someone who hates physics games) if it wouldn't be for the horrible mouse + keyboard controls. No idea if it is any better with controller but I would imagine so.

A nice simple harmless marble game. Can be beaten in a day or a little longer if you bother to 5* every map. If I had one complaint, the powers are almost useless, largely unused except for a few bits I needed to in the 3rd area to meet 5* times. Probably not worth $5 but a nice little time waster at $2.50 or something.

Fun little game. My 2 hours was sufficient to complete every level, but not go for full stars on every level (it's not fun enough for me to be bothered doing that) - I imagine that if you did, you'd get about a further 5-6 hours out of it. The physics are intuitive and easy to handle, and unlike other tilt-maze games, it's not marred by being obnoxiously sensitive. The Steam achievements didn't register for me so if that's the main reason for a purchase maybe don't bother.

I've always wanted a modern marble madness, and this feels like a half-hearted attempt that's also part monkeyball. It's just too short (less than an hour of content) and what's there isn't at all polished. Too bad, there's a decent start on a good game here.

Quite a short game, but great fun none the less. Not so difficult that it becomes a bind, but could benefit from having difficulty levels for those who prefer more of a challenge. Overall, the story is enjoyable, the gameplay is very entertaining, and the graphics are excellent. I thoroughly recommend it!

Some interesting design choises, but ultimately the soft physics fail to deliver a grounded sense of control and a loose camera gave me a bit of motion sickness.
