ME_iON is one of those games where the first thing you notice is how strange the idea is. Playing as a little watermelon running around with goofy weapons is not something you see every day, and the game clearly focuses more on being funny and silly rather than trying to be a serious shooter. The weird style is probably the biggest reason people will want to try it. The actual gameplay is a simple multiplayer shooter. You jump into matches, fight other players, and try to get as many kills as possible. The shooting is easy to understand and the small maps make matches feel quick. It is the kind of game that is more about messing around with friends and having fun than mastering deep mechanics. The idea of earning tokens from matches and using them in the homestead/base-building area is a nice extra feature. It gives you something to work towards outside of just winning games. The problem is that this part of the game still feels very basic and unfinished, so it feels more like a small bonus rather than a full feature right now. The biggest positive is the personality. A lot of small multiplayer shooters feel like copies of bigger games, but ME_iON at least has its own identity. …

This is the best game I have ever played. It cured all my ailments and I no longer need to take my meds, eat, sleep or go outside. I have 900 schmeckels and I can build a tent. 10/10.
