About Melting Encyclopedia
It's a game about traveling through parallel dimensions. In each dimension you need to find a way to charge you battery to travel furter. While your battery is charging you are free to explore and interact with that dimension. While you may change the dimensions, the dimension may also change you.

You awaken groggily. You can't move. You hear a cutesy-sounding voice say the following: "Greetings, nice human! I understand you wish to experience the following: EVERYTHING. What a coincidence! So do I! It's certainly not because I want total unfettered and permanent access to everything - unless that's what YOU wanted, in which case: yay, everything! Art games are nothing new—Bad Day on the Midway, a game by The Residents in 1995, digs into a bizarre world, exploring the dystopian nightmares of a dying theme park manager. LSD Dream Simulator also shares strange iterations on dreams. However, both of those games miss something that Melting Encyclopedia gets right: the joy of surreal art. Sure, some locations in this experience are dystopian nightmares, but you also get the chaotic cartoon parade, the strangely happy flowers, the overwhelming abundance of cats. You get beauty. And for that reason, I think it's worth giving this game a shot. When I receive a game for free, I have to judge whether or not I'd find the game worth buying at the current price point. I personally feel the price is just right. Now I WILL say that the game has some bugs—I managed to softlock in the dark room the second time I went there, most likely from clicking various things too quickly. However, the game is a compact enough experience that I'm fine with a few issues.4 found this helpful

I adored the art style of this game, but I got stuck at the point where you have to restore the power. I couldn’t figure out how to do it, but that might have been because I was playing it on steam deck. Enjoyed my time with it though!1 found this helpful
