7/14/26 update: Just tried the new 6.5 (July 7th) update and sadly the problem still persists where suddenly the game doesn't accept any inputs. Might just be a me problem but still a word of warning. Wish the dev best of luck with their new game regardless and hope this game gets something too. I've tried to play it for longer than 30 mins and it ends up freezing and forcing me to quit via steam. I'd love to keep at it but its basically a paperweight of a game with how little I can get done. The content (although very lacking in guidance and a more linear explanation of the use of currency) does feel like a solid trading game as a merchant, I just wish I could actually play it.2 found this helpful
Fun game but severely unstable and constant crashes/freezes. Like I'm talking 2-3 per hour of playtime. The game was also released 3yrs ago and is seemingly not regularly updated so the chances of those crashes getting resolved is slim. Would be a positive review otherwise.2 found this helpful
Best bartering system, very nice art, sates your feeling of wanderlust as good as a big first person open world game.
Crazy addictive and weirdly fun game loop of bartering stuff for stuff and then making out like a bandit and being ridiculously wealthy...feels good when you start to naturally figure out who values what and all that. Take as an example this recent really nice moment where I happened to have plenty of stuff the miner wanted so I bought all of his ore, then offered it to the blacksmith for all of his magical swords, then sold the magical swords to an adventurer for a massive haul of money, now I can use that massive haul of money to purchase valuable rare things from the merchants and do it all over again in an attempt to become the wealthiest merchant in the realm! Also, with all of the characters to discover, I've put lots of hours in and still haven't met anywhere near all of them. So it's neat figuring out who lives where and desires which particular items... Genuinely great trading system that would be fantastic to see in a lot of other games going forward.
Very good game i have fond memories of playing it
Great game! Scratches the trading itch I got from games like TF2. It's easy to lose an hour selling your wares
