took the dumpster dive so you don't have to. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. i scrolled through every review and there were only 2 people who had more than 10 hours played despite there being 66 of them and 100% positiive review rate. just something to think about. holy ♥♥♥♥ this game is so absurdly slow and gross to play. i think there are ideas here and that if this game was executed well cause the general concept seems like it could be interesting enough? but that's in theory. in reality actual gameplay was so mind numbing i closed it within 15 minutes. the ui is barely functional, the actual gameplay is slow as ♥♥♥♥, explanations for tooltips or really anything seem to be not rly existant. idk. you have ur two ppl who walk around and slowly use buttons on ppl cause the game runs like molasses, u kill waves and a boss appears. u have mana. except ur chars also attack by default so using ur buttons is like some cool extra thing? combat just feels so slow and bad though, animations are horribly slow. you dont have control over what ur doing so the one char slowly waddles at people unless u spend the rare mana on a teleport, other just stands there and has bigger spells, which is fine. but…

Classic backpack management, classic card building, and fusion monsters are just fun. The game has many mechanisms that are very strategic. Sometimes, due to the abundance of mechanisms, different equipment and accessories can be overwhelming, and the game pace is a bit slow. However, for card game enthusiasts, none of these are issues.

The mechanic of endlessly grinding for artifacts in this game is absolutely brilliant—there are zero duplicate drops, and any artifact you’re chasing can be earned just by putting in the time. On top of that, the dual-character system adds a ton more fun to the gameplay. It’s definitely worth picking up a copy to experience for yourself.

Before we know it, the series has launched its third installment. Its dual strategic mechanics—both pre-battle planning and in-combat tactics—greatly boost the game’s enjoyment. On top of that, the auto-battle feature is an absolute lifesaver; it’s incredibly convenient and takes all the hassle out of fights.

The game uses a level-based challenge system. You can play with two character slots, and by using cards, your characters gain skills and equipment. You can also use attack cards to target specific areas. There’s no leveling system during a run. After clearing each stage, you can choose a relic or buy items from the shop. You have four revival chances in total. The combat doesn’t feel particularly impactful, but you can build combo plays by combining two decks, which is a pretty interesting design. One downside is that if you fail a run completely, you have to start over from scratch. There’s no sense of long-term progression outside the run, like permanent upgrades, and I hope this could be added.

It's my first time playing a card-based roguelike with inventory management, and the gameplay setting is really fresh too—it feels so interesting.
