Super meta. Super cool adventure game. Super deep.1 found this helpful
The very first clue for the very first puzzle, instead of the protagonist reading a descriptive text and making special mention of the clue word (like he's supposed to do if the game wasn't bugged) instead says "I don't need that". You know what? Neither do I. NEXT.1 found this helpful
FIREEE GAMEEE
I mean, it's a free game and I feel bad about posting a negative review for a free game. Having said that, the game is quite boring. It starts good, with a good enough suspense story (full of cliches mind you) but still interesting. But I struggled to finish the game, basically the pace of the game is slow, and I don't mean the puzzles, I didn't struggle with any puzzle cause I've played games like this before so I'm used to it. But the pacing of the game is bad imo. They should have sticked to a simpler murder mystery instead of going full sci-fi. Also, the protagonist, he has the charisma of a trash can, which doesn't help. This game would have been much more fun to play with a bit more humour in it. Like the Broken Sword games. It takes itself way too serious to the point is laughable but not in a good way. Having said that, it's impressive for a free game, they could have easily charged $5 for this. And I would give it a neutral score instead of a bad one if steam allowed for neutral scores.
Wow, so many beautiful dithered pixelart <3<3<3 Great movement, great dialogues. Looking forward to enjoying the game until the end <3
Metaphobia has a really good plot, a beautiful art style, well though out puzzles and a catchy soundtrack. Thank you, Digital Mosaic Games, for making this game free to play.
