Murder Mystery Adventure tells the suspenseful story of a chilling murder committed in a mysterious mansion upon the hillside at the outskirts of town. Only you can solve the crime. Only you have the wits to solve challenging puzzles to unveil critical clues. Only you have the investigative knowledge to interact with possible suspects to decide who is lying and who are innocent. Combining the very best of point-and-click adventuring with Hidden Object discoveries, your task is to search for clues and possible murder weapons throughout the house. Murder Mystery Adventure is an older game from 2016. It's a venerable 8 years old at the time of this review. It's a poor man's ripoff of games like Myst where you've got a static scene, you can look around a bit, but there's no real locomotion, you move by clicking on doors etc which gives you a little movement cutscene, then you're looking at the next static scene, where you do basic point and click adventure stuff. The title says it all, in terms of plot, you're in a charming manor (with low poly, shoddy assets and barely any shaders/shadows etc, it looks awful), and someone got a murder done on them, so you have to solve who done it. Which is fine if is's presented well, but it's not. It's from EnsenaSoft, and I was really surprised to find out they're asset flippers, but they are. EnsenaSoft have a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. It was okay? Like all the bad reviews are totally justified and I didn't have a great time playing it, but if I paid less than .50c for it... I wouldn't feel like I wasted my money. It was a murder mystery even if I couldn't find any blood. I went back and played it again and I still stand on the "if you get it cheap, worth it" stance. If you like characters that walk very slowly, and like walking through doors that then require you to walk back around the long way, then this is the game for you. Otherwise, stay well clear - like I intend to in the future after rage-quitting the game.2 found this helpful
