Everything from the player model to the UI and the store looks basic, empty and to be honest, trashy. Chinese dev using a white player model and American names for a boba shop game? A Chinese made game that have leftover untranslated text and machine translation that don't make sense? Yeah that checks out. Don't even have English if you don't care about English speaking players. Gameplay is uninspired and lazy. They showcased a great title screen that make you think you are about to play a physic-based boba making game that let you customize boba recipes with lots of interesting ingredients, but when I play the game you barely get an animation for any interaction. Gameplay is just go to this station, click on this station, bring it to another crafting station, deliver to customer, done. I rather go play Diner Dash or the Delicious series.

A few hours in, and I like this game out of all the coffee games I have.

this game is so cute & cozy! I was worried when I saw that all of the trailers and demos were not in English (this has been updated), but I took a chance since Steam said it was available in English and it's fine! There are some translation issues here and there, but you can understand it easily. This is a cute cafe, cozy game where you manage the shop, create new recipes, and manage inventory. This doesn't re-invent the wheel by any means, but there are NPC's you meet along the way and it has a fun charm to it that keeps you playing! Love it so far, have only had one bug that forced me to reset, but otherwise love this game!

I really wanna like this game, but what peeves me is how much the game SETS YOU UP TO FAIL. For a first couple of days, you're working by yourself. To get a lot of money, you need to make complex drinks or use expensive ingredients. To deal with customers on top of making complex drinks by yourself is overwhelming, the camera angle is pretty terrible, making it hard to read where you put your ingredients at. Everything is expensive and you cannot waste a single second if you want to get tips. Everyday, if your 5 starring your work days, there is always something new to add to the bs that already makes the game feel kinda hard. There's always money to be spent. Right now I'm autumn year 1 and I'm peeved to learn customers will leave without a place to sit. They won't order or nothing, they will just not order at all, making me lose money that I could have gotten. And for a shop that's been open for a couple of days, that's f-ing ridiculous expectations. That should have been functioned after you get 2 or 3 shop expansions/upgrades. You know.. This is a cute game with clean graphics and minimal design. I love it's orthographic or top-down view because most of the simulator games are now 1st person - so it's like a sweet change. I also love the fact that it gives the ability to experiment and create my own recipes with many ingredients available in game. This keeps the game customisable for quite some time. The mini game is a small fun without any complex rule. The game offers cheat code to unlocks everything at the cost of "no steam achievement".. So it's up to the players if they wanna follow quests and progression or want to use cheat to unlock everything and then play like sandbox. The only thing is transaltion issue that can bother players. I play in english and I found out that there are scattered areas where it's in other language. Though most of the game is translated but not all of it - yet! DEVs are releasing daily patches right now so hope to see more improvements. The game is not in EA so I'm not sure if there will be new features or additions later. Milk Tea Time is a cozy simulation game where you build and grow your own bubble tea shop at a relaxed, enjoyable pace. The gameplay is simple to understand and easy to settle into, with steady progression that makes unlocking new features feel rewarding without ever being stressful. The game is still actively being updated, so it isn’t fully perfect yet, but it’s already pretty fun and solid to play. You can tell the developers are continuing to improve things over time, and the core experience is in a good place. Considering it was made by a small development team, what’s already here is genuinely impressive. One thing worth noting is that the game was originally developed in Chinese, so some of the English translation is still being refined as updates roll out. That said, it doesn’t take away from the overall experience, and everything is still easy to understand and enjoy. The cozy art style, relaxing atmosphere, and especially the cats add a lot of charm and personality to the game.
