Mini Words: Polyglot

Eh. It's kind of fun. You have to guess the correct translation of each word and spell them out using a line puzzle. The biggest downside is that this game uses American English, so you will be forced to spell things incorrectly. There was one level I was stuck on for quite a while because I simply didn't realise that Americans spell it differently. But in the end it's quite cheap, and not the worst word game I've ever played.

An interesting idea with an extremely lackluster execution. The bland line puzzles were probably created by algorithm, and aren't particularly fun or challenging. Most of the words are obvious cognates and don't require much thinking, so unfortunately the bulk of the game is just solving these line puzzles. It's a mild curiosity to play through them once, but it's not an efficient or effective way to study the words. The puzzles themselves aren't in your target language (unless you're studying English), so you'd probably be better off getting a book of word searches or easy crosswords. While the 300 levels will keep you busy for a while, no new mechanics are ever introduced, and the developer didn't include any additional modes, scoring, or other options at all, so there's nothing to spice up the bare core mechanic. I've wasted $2 in worse ways, but it's hard to find good educational games, so it's always a big disappointment when they miss the mark. Don't expect much, you can find much better resources for free.

I enjoy the sounds, the puzzles are not too hard, nice mix of languages.

Does what it says on the tin 8/10 Languages

It's a mixed from me (leaning towards negative though). Bugged at times. For some words you may have a doubt if it's true. Lacks any kind of hint for languages that are not included. Has potential (even for learning), but falls short. It's a shame that you don't have every chapter unlocked at once (it doesn't really matter where do you start). Although, finding the correct way to connect letters is often demanding and fun. PS: Also, it lacks Steam Cloud or any other kind of saving your progress. I found a way to recover your progress and I made a tutorial on community page.
