About Minoes
Minoes is a Tetris-like stack-em-up with a Rubik's Cube thrown in. It builds on the core gameplay of Tetris-likes and Match-3s and brings an innovative twist; you can only place as many minoes as you can catch. With it's colourful backdrops and blend of gameplay styles, it establishes itself as a unique arcade action puzzle game.
The Adventure mode of Minoes includes over 100 levels across 12 environments. There are four game types within; finding shapes, getting points, comboing specific minoes and survival. There are also several special minoes to help with the clearing. You can clear a large area, sweep a whole row and column into a certain colour and even flip gravity!
There's also an endless Arcade mode for when you need that quick fix! The difficulty slowly increases, starting with single Ominoes and progressing to Pentominoes. The action also gets faster and faster, requiring players to think quickly and tactically.

- Over 100 levels across 12 environments
- 4 game modes to have fun with in Adventure mode and an Endless arcade mode for a quick fix of Minoes action
- Charming Synthwave soundtrack
- Supports Keyboard or Controller.
- Innovative fusion of Match-3 and Tetris-like games.
- Pleasing Flat Design art-style

minoes is yet another spin on the ever-popular concept of tetris, and it's a bloody good one. it takes a more horizontal approach, with multiple pieces falling at the same time, and you can only place blocks manually after catching them with your platform before they reach the top of the board and fall where they are. even if you see a falling 2x2 shape, it's made up of single blocks and they can be caught (or missed) individually, and an upside down L-shape won't stay that way after landing on the platform, the unsupported top bit will fall to the bottom. making things a bit more interesting and challenging is valid shapes on the right of the screen, meaning blocks will only disappear from the board if they're matched like those, not just any 3 or 4 of the same color in any direction. of course, if 2x2 is a valid shape and you quickly create a 3x2 rectangle, it works too, as it's 2x2 from one end and 2x2 from the other. 2 game modes are available: adventure offers 100+ levels in 12 constellations or systems, while endless is, well, endless, as long as you don't screw up, and this mode can be started on any of the 12 difficu…15 found this helpful
Minoes is a clever twist on the classic arcade game of Tetris, combining a Rubik's cube-like control over the blocks that allow for more creative problem solving, and more freedom to the player. While you play you listen to an upbeat retro-electronic soundtrack, all of which feels like it brings back the 1980's. The name "minoes" refers to polyominoes (such as dominoes), and there are special blocks that when trigged, activate different "domino" affects, which in some cases may clear the board. These special blocks add to an overall satisfying experience while playing this game. There are two game modes: 1) Adventure, where you progress through more than one hundred levels, and 2) Endless, where you play for a high score. As one would expect, both start off easy and then gradually get more and more difficult until the game presents a real challenge for even the best Tetris players. The game gets a lot more challenging by inceasing the speed that the blocks fall, the number of the blocks falling, the variety of blocks, shrinking the size of the area you have to work with, shrinking the controller itself, or my personal favourite, flipping the entire game upside down. It really is i…1 found this helpful
Nice little Tetris Like game with some interesting twists. Bursting with colour and backed by a mellow soundtrack, perfect chillout game.
A reinterpretation of a classic - Minoes is a Tetris, Columns-esque arcade game, with a vibrant art style and relaxing ambience. With over 1000 levels of increasing difficulty, don't be fooled by the art style this game is a challenge for even the best match-3 players. Everything in the game works as a complete package, well thought out puzzle design and challenges, great music and clever game mechanics. Recommended.
