Mochi Mochi Boy

A difficult game is a difficult sell (at least in some fashion). Mochi Mochi Boy has a decent core gameplay mechanic that works in conjunction with its artistic aesthetic and the energy it provides. Unfortunately, the lack of overall content and the striking difficulty jumps makes this an arcade game of the highest caliber: hundreds of attempts with little payoff. If you pitch your tent within the arcade scene, this game is a must-buy, and a good value for its price. Very cute graphics and fun basic idea, but sadly pretty abysmal game from the technical point of view. For example if you can't complete a level in certain modes (and because of the nature of the game that happens very often) you have to either wait for several minutes for the timer to run out or just straight up close the game in order to exit the level. Also I don't think I've ever seen another game with difficulty level this all over the place... All in all this would be fine for a free game jam game or something, but not really acceptable for a game you have to actually buy.

One of my favorite arcade games so far, really funny, good puzzles, I highly recommend to give it a try
