Minigames are great, board game is okay, but unfortunately it feels repetitive after the second playthrough. Coming from a binge of Mario Party and Pummel Party, I feel this just doesn't hold up as a whole. Still recommend it for the price (you can cast your game so essentially only one person in a group of four has to buy it - an absolute steal when you take this into consideration).1 found this helpful
Fun minigame collection, board game is a better replacement than the mario party kind, no randomness, different types of minigames, definitely worth it
We only played one game, but my friends and I had a lot of fun with this. Fun throwback to old school Mario Party with its own unique twist in monster collecting. The old school graphics were a nice touch!
Very charming Multiplayer party game. The pun-monsters are adorable. There is a lot of variety in the minigames, which makes it hard for one player to win everything. I really liked that the board-game part. It never felt unbalanced, didn't feel too random, and didn't have too much snowballing. Definitely nice to see these types of games being produced, especially ones more on the less expensive/more indy side of gaming.
The game is a fun throwback to the early Mario Party games of the N64 era. The graphics have that fun style to them that brings back the countless hours of game play I have on my N64. The characters are cute and diverse, and the actual board game is an interesting concept. Overall, love the game.
This game has that classic Nintendo couch party vibe. I've played it with a few different groups of people, and it seems to work well with both frequent and casual gamers. The minigames have a good amount of variety to them, and there's enough minigames to give it a plenty of replayability. One particularly nice touch is the adorable art of the hybrid creatures in the game. I've fallen in love with the panda/andaconda hybrid"pandaconda" and the fiery otter "magmotter". Favorite minigame: * Topagrathree Least favorite minigame: * Peng-winners and losers - racing games have never been my format of choice, so this minigame is not up my alley
