Players appreciate the game's classic RPG feel and varied combat depth with different strategic approaches, but criticize the excessive encounter rate that makes frequent trivial battles tedious and grindy. Many note this is a poorly optimized mobile port to PC with limited monster taming mechanics (they join via story rather than player choice), restrictive equipment slots, and a lack of engaging progression that makes leveling feel like a chore rather than rewarding gameplay.
hit point seems to make the best looking but worst to play rpgs for kemco and this is a special stinker in the pile. if the enemy encounter rate was half what it is and they simply doubled xp gained this would actually be a good game with a lot of combat depth and an ok story but man fights every 10 seconds that last 1 turn but still have bosses that can kick yer arse is just not fun at all. skip this and play justice chronicals if you want to see what im talking about but want to enjoy what you experience a little.7 found this helpful
I'll be frank the moment I realized it was a mobile game ported to PC I stopped giving it a chance. But it just felt lacking. I was hoping for something with more personality or engaging fights.4 found this helpful
Monster Viator, a game about taming monster and (of course) fighting against evil. During your travels you'll encounter many different monster. And those will join your party. Your party: that's you 2 monster and a female shepherdess. Like most Hit-Point games your max. level is 99, but I read that after gaining that you still get Hitpoints with each new (not displayed) level. Now this is unorthodox for an RPG...you can't use items. If you run out of Hitpoints during a fight and no party member knows a healing spell....that's it. Each character (human and monster) has only 1 slot for a weapon, a shield (dunno how a beast can hold a shield) and a ring. Also you have max. 4 slots for passive skills, 2 are individual skills, and the other 2 are skills that you can free equip...if you find an item with this skill! The weapon, armor and rings can be strengthen (up to 5 times) if you have enough money...you don't need to visit a shop for this. It can be done from the menue. During your travel you will find NPC that teach you different jobs. Those jobs must be equipped at one of the statues found in every city. The jobs rise in level if you do certain tasks (like you found a fishing ro…2 found this helpful
Well to be fair... i liked the art style and hoped from the description for smth interesting... But well after 2 hours playtime, you dont get to tame monsters for real. They join you as story progresses like another char from story...you cant really split strategies because you are totaly bound to the "idea" of the creator of this game. And yes... its a bad mobile to pc port, really bad setup, missing smarter UX (sorry prgrammer thoughts xD) Lastly and most frustrating, you can level up yourself and others and equipment.... but all that is based on grinding... super boring. No extra thought about the player to feel "special" here. If you dont care about the above play it. I wrote this, so people dont waste their money on a "loveless" made game. You realize fast, its just done for the money without giving deeper thoughts :/ **Update: After playing that game through (20 hours found everything and did everything except tower of Rao) here some final thoughts: - Early progress is a pain, systems not well explained - Totaly bound to the story, no change in which monsters wll join you - At lvl 10+ you reach a wall and at lvl 30+ once. - After getting multiple monsters & different car…1 found this helpful

i'm a little bit over 8 hours in and still enjoying it story wise: you start with a character that has amnesia and along the road you will recall memories of your past as a beast tamer, along the way you will have to save people or slay boss monsters or find specific items but its made in a way that it pretty much has a back story on all things you do battle wise: the encounter rate of this game is quite high, you will have different ways to fight the enemy like pure damage but also the option to go for a more defensive or a ailment way of fighting, not all of these are unlocked direct but after around three hours you should have tamed enough monsters to be able to have a varity of fighting types, personally my favorite is ailment and buffs ( little spoiler but you will tame a ghost early on that is quite overpowered if you buff it with evasive buffs) the battles are in general a bit though in the way that enemies can deal quite some damage or have allot of health depending on which one you fight and require a good tactic to counter it, this is mostly true for bosses which can be difficult first try, till youl earned the moves of the boss though this coul…
