MotoRacer - Couldn't get it running at all MotoRacer 2 - Completely unplayable with audio only and a mess of heavily artifacted and broken video MotoRacer 3 - No controller support, only oldschool resolutions MotoRacer 4 - Only oldschool resolutions Tracking down custom wrappers or random .exes / .dlls from questionable at best sources to attempt to run these games properly is not something I should need to do after buying this package. 2 of them works fine, but the other two you need to fix yourself Also steam only counts time on the launcher where you choose the game, not on any game you play Moto Racer 1 If you use dgVoodoo2 it works But if you don't have CD rom you need to mount any iso, otherwise game won't work Moto Racer 2 Using dgVoodoo2 fixes the game too, but on races it's in ridiculous small resolution that i don't know how to fix The other two, Moto Racer 3 and 15th aniversary, works fine17 found this helpful
Seems like decent value at first since you're getting 4 games at once, except that most of the titles either don't run at all or aren't optimised to run on modern rigs.8 found this helpful
This is a game I used to play non-stop with my dad about 25 years ago - hundreds of hours spent driving, competing for the best lap time. After all these years, he asked me if it was possible to find this game anywhere, and when I saw it on Steam, I bought it immediately. Unfortunately, it has optimization issues. After installation, it wouldn't even launch, and you have to mess around with settings just to get it running. In the end, I gave up and bought it on GOG, where it worked right out of the box. The game itself is great, just not the Steam version.
Great games. Such a shame they didn't add achievements at least, given they are warts and all ports.
Childhood nostalgia.
