This is a beautiful game with neat ideas, but ultimately the reason I give it a thumbs down is that the game actually gets less fun the more you understand about it. Getting a strong run essentially allows you to click the screen randomly for 30 minutes with minimal thought involved, and there is not much variation between runs after a while.

Fun roguelite game. Runs through the dungeon are fast and well-balanced. Cool artstyle and sound. Simple to play with but with some nice depth and secrets. Enjoyed it for sure
A surprisingly well made game with deep mechanics, unique art style and sound design, as well as some interesting worldbuilding and lore in the background. You can always loose to shear bad luck, with minimal mistakes made in the run, which is an intended part of Sol Cesto experience. The ga…
Art is good, mechanics and meta are so boring and pedestrian; there is nothing really exciting going on, you just scan the rows to see if you have three or four positives and click, otherwise take a chance on a lower percentage, repeat way too many times. Shame, had potential.
