This game is very unfortunate. It misunderstands horror, misunderstands player engagement and tries to mix multiple genres together. For the sake of courtesy, I will try to be as specific as I can. The horror is often lost when the player dies and dying in this game feels completely random very often. The text to speech really kills any momentum. The monsters are not scary, they're a bit better than a generic monster but they don't really have the lighting, animations or graphical fidelty to make them work, they're used more like jumpscares. The house layout is extremely generic and lacks any real direction. Even the games goal of spotting the anomalies is handled rather poorly and going in blind, I actually didn't even really understand what or how to report or spot anomalies. I struggled to understand what the game wanted of me. I would like the creator of this to keep making games but to really take a look at what makes other games tick. There's a lot of really good horror games that don't rely on cheap jumpscares and can inject horror even into a game without much fidelity.
