My Summer Adventure: Memories of Another Life — Day 1

⠀

Congratulations to all of you on St. Valentine's Day.
#tinygamereviews

This linear visual novel "prologue" doesn't bode well for its full version. The illusion of choice isn't the same thing as having choices and a branching story.

Overall Score: 1/5

Curator: Nostalginauts

Full Review
It starts and continues and (ostensibly) ends like many other visual novel prologues - there's a choice to make, and you'll make it in the full game when that comes out. Except in this one, it seems more or less already-decided for you. Besides that, it isn't particularly well-written or well-thought out; still reads like a first draft and it buries whatever nuance the main ("player") character is supposed to have about their(/your) insecurity in the lack of actual choices you can make. What few branches exist in this first part don't seem to do much for you.

Хотя история с попаданством не нова, хочется дочитать ее до конца и узнать, чем же она закончится. Приятные графика и музыка, будем ждать продолжения.
