Imperfect but Remarkable Masterpiece🌟
Developed by Jellyfish Limited, Sisters: Last Day of Summer is a short visual novel based on the story among the protagonist, two girls, and their mother. The game was released in April, 2011, followed by its Ultra Edition in 2013. It’s currently priced at $24.99 on Steam and Jast USA with only 9-hour length, but compared to other visual novels such as Riddle Joker and Aokana, I’d rather say it’s somewhat cheap??? That being said, if you really enjoy a visual novel with animation, it’s highly recommended to try it.
Fleeting yet Pleasant Summer🌟
The story begins with a boy making a call from a telephone booth. Next, he rode a bike and got in a traffic accident, being severely injured. Little things do we know next. Then, it jumped into a greeting from an unknown woman. She asked the hero to do chores without revealing her name until they watched the TV show. Next day, she disappeared, leaving her daughter Chika and Haruka to take care of the hero, whom he encountered on the porch. Chika and Haruka accepted the boy very soon and treated him normally, as if they’d seen him as a family member, though at …

Something weird is happening with this world, if a freaking eroge suddenly has better animation, better drawing and better overall artstyle than most animes I saw. It is very short - 4-5 hours if you read everything and wont skip, I believe - very beautiful and emotionally devastating interactive anime. A little bit interactive - there is only one ending and choices dont matter much. H-scenes are some of the best I saw Download and play with adult patch, obviously. Plot wont make sense if you wont

Do not buy this game. -Choices you make don't matter, defeating the purpose of choices. -This has the visual novel equivalent of unskippable cutscenes. -Skipping is inconsistent. -Game crashes consistently in key scenes. -You can't even patch in the 18+ content without running into crashes. If you still want to play this game, I recommend getting it elsewhere.

This VN gets a recommendation but its only by a hair's breath. First of all it needs to be bluntly stated that by buying the game on Steam it NOT complete. You NEED to go JSAT USA's site, make an account, and download and install their FREE Uncensored "DLC" patch. Failure to do this basically guts the game and for that alone I can't recommend paying full price for this game. I couldn't make much sense of the story which would likely be cured by playing through a few more times. However it's easy enough to get the rough idea of injured MC being taken in by I believe the woman who hit him with her car by accident. You do bang her once and then she disappears for the rest of the game after which you will meet and bang her two daughters while exploring a standard romance with the younger sister until the very end when you bang both of them one last time. It's linear and as far as I can tell you can't lock yourself out of anything as there is only one ending. If there is a different path I would need to claw through another play through to find it. The animation quality is very good and you can find online compilations of all the Adult scenes, however what really kills this game are…
