Mystery Island - Hidden Object Games is a relaxed, exploration-driven hidden-object adventure that emphasizes atmosphere and discovery over pressure or complexity. Developed and published by Crisp App Studio, the game invites players to journey across the island of Crete while unraveling a mystery connected to the legendary Phaistos Disc. Rather than relying on fast-paced mechanics or constant challenge escalation, the experience is designed to be unhurried and contemplative, encouraging players to soak in each location and gradually piece together the narrative through observation and careful searching. The core gameplay revolves around classic hidden-object mechanics, but Mystery Island differentiates itself through its use of expansive 360-degree panoramic scenes. Each location functions less like a static puzzle board and more like a space to explore, allowing players to rotate their view and examine environments from multiple angles. This approach gives the game a sense of depth and travel that many traditional hidden-object titles lack, making the act of searching feel closer to sightseeing than checklist completion. Objects are cleverly integrated into the scenery, often bl…

I can’t believe I put myself through another masoch*stic experience. For once in my life, I started the game thinking I’d be able to 100% complete it in one hour - according to the achievement scouts’ curation. Well, to my very unpleasant surprise, when I reached the halfway point, I had already been playing for an hour… and another full hour was still awaiting me. Look, I don’t mind a longer hidden object game - but at least put some thinking into the overall design. For example, Please, Touch the Artwork 2 takes a full hour to complete, but that hour is filled with joy and fun. But this game? IT’S FILLED WITH PAIN! I’m from Czechia, and for some god-forsaken reason the game is translated into my language. Well, it’s translated very poorly. At one point, the girl says something equivalent to “Let’s find dad’s balls!” - which has the same double meaning in Czech as it does in English. Jesus Christ, the developer must have been high when deciding to translate this game into like 20 languages overall. And the translation problems don’t end with some unfunny bullsh*t. Sometimes you’re supposed to find something that is named completely differently than you would expect, so…

This is a hidden object game. The objects are hidden really well, but not difficult to locate. The story was a bit boring though and started getting repetitive, but overall not a bad game. I think the game is not worth the price, however if it is on a discount, it is worth it.

This a fun Hidden Object Game (HOG for short). Not a Puzzle HOG, but a true and pure HOG. it is a lot of fun. However: The places you have to search are a 360 degree view, and there is a good reason most HOGs avoid this and the reason is a simple one most would not understand-unless they have experienced it first hand and that reason is: Motion sickness. Yep, you read that right. Motion sickness. This is because unlike static image HOGs, you are focusing on a certain section but also moving the view, for those who are prone to motion sickness will need to either pass or play this game in short bursts. if you do not suffer this issue, then you should have no problems at but for those who do, consider this fair warning before you buy.

its a fun game but it has its quirks too. I guess it doesn't SAVE right. if I exit the game it doesn't return to where I left off. I've re-started the game several times now and it happened every time. Restarts at different spots though. How do you select the save spot manually, or turn on the autosave??

🏝️🔍 Mystery Island – Budget Vacation, Premium Eye Strain Glad I grabbed this before it stopped being free. You get a storyline (cliché and occasionally nonsensical), plus some unexpected reading material—Phaistos Disc, Atlantis, Crete. That part? Actually fascinating. The rest? Well... imagine stock photo objects, barely visible, floating like ghosts. Add in 3D postcard scenes, an energy system no one asked for, and music that loops straight into madness. But hey—if it’s free again, it’s worth a look. Just lower your expectations and maybe your brightness settings. Struggle Rating: ★★★☆☆ – Eyesight: -1. Sanity: questionable. Knowledge gained: surprising. Xjur: I came for a mystery and left with a browser full of mythology tabs... and a headache. On to the next!
