This game is all about capturing flags. Fight your way into enemy territory and steal their flag. Use hidden paths and clever routes to sneak past enemy defenses. That doesn't mean it's a great game, it's dead. It's "Capture the Flag" focused FPS arena shooter with a biblical history theme, graphics so bad you'll cringe, and no players except after Sunday school. "Narrow One" is a failed PvP game. Why is it dead? It's time for a video game autopsy! [i]The vast majority of PvP focused games on Steam are failures.[/i] Most fail because developers assume just because the game project code completes a successful build, the game will instantly and magically "go viral" just for existing. There's nothing in this to appeal to gamers that hundreds of other PvP games are already doing better. PvP games face extreme competition, PvP gamers have plenty to choose from and they gravitate to where all the other players are. One of my favorite games from Itch. I played this for a few days with my friends like crazy. It was a ton of fun. I am so happy that Pelican Party brought it on Steam as well and allowed me to link my old account. I'm not sure if the game will still receive updates, but regardless it's a fantastic little game that you can boot up and have fun with people. The movement and shooting feels super nice and reminds me of the good old days.
