About Nebraska
Nebraska takes place in 2020 as a journalist writing a book about mid-west America, who runs out of gas in a rural area of Nebraska. The journalist stumbles across the ruins of an abandoned horror attraction in his search for help. With no other option, he steps in and begins to explore, getting trapped inside as the door slams behind him. Players will explore and uncover the secret facility that lies beneath the attraction and discover the terrible experiments that have taken place there.Nebraska is a survival horror game heavily inspired by games like Amnesia the dark descent and Penumbra black plague. The game has an advanced physics system where players can interact with almost anything in the environment. Players will have to solve puzzles to advance through the game, including the use of the physics system in certain situations. The player must also manage their body temperature, as getting too cold or hot could result in hypothermia or heat stroke.
The game is not only horror, but also very story-driven and can have times of sadness, happiness, and of course fear. Nebraska's plot involves different characters that will help you progress through the facility. Will they help you or will they betray you...

As a Nebraskan, I can only assume this game takes place in Yutan. At one point, I'm pretty sure the game takes place inside a pound of ground beef. Jokes side, this is a single-dev game that doesn't break your brain but also keeps you on your toes. Also, f you, Billy.
it's 2026 its a bit mid tbh, i really wish there was a mid button.
6-29-26 Fun game .. immersive. liked the puzzles in the first half. Didn't like having to search an area crouching and no glow stick. that broke my spirit to play more. Enjoyed what I did play. The glow stick is what made me keep playing. Might be better to have the crouching level part of game at the end .. it did nothing for me game wise. Not scarier.. just frustrating and i quit.
Couldve been pretty good but at a certain point the game feels like its just winging it.
Not terribly great. The few notes don't make a ton of sense and aren't formatted terribly well. Reading notes is common for this kind of horror game, but the notes in this game are just blocks of text, and therefore some of them are a pain to look at while reading. Still, I've seen worse formatting from small dev teams, so it isn't the end of the world. What is a little goofy is that there are a couple of times that characters make direct reference to notes in the game world - for example, the final antagonist says, "you remember that note you read earlier? That was me!" Just awkward for immersion. Gameplay is okay. Nothing groundbreaking, but nothing terribly broken either. You can clip some of the physics interactable objects into each other/the floor, but it really will only happen if you're playing around or really trying to make stuff break. If you just use physics objects as intended, there's no issue. There really aren't any puzzles, this follows more of the fetch quest design of "puzzle" common in horror games. For example, being stuck in an open maze-like area to look for fuses for a fuse box while there's a monster patrolling. It doesn't break the mold on that design p…
