decent short backrooms walking simulator the character walks like 2x more steps than a human does(too many foot steps noises given how slow you are moving which makes atmopshere worse), the walking speed is too slow and stamina system makes no sense as theres no gameplay or nothing its just a walking simulator, the "running" is just almost fast walking, while walking is very slow the game is very linear and each level very short, the atmopshere isnt very special, the game is in general pretty fine in a lot of ways but falls a bit short to get emrersed in any particualr setting. but its good that you dont end up in tedious long levels, the graphics are not bad but are not the kind of graphics that create the strongest backrooms atmopshere(pretty bright and smooth) im gonna say recommend if you just want a mid short backrooms walking simulator, the prize is very reasonble so im not trying to give it too much flack2 found this helpful
Too short but good.
Two things. One. The lobby has these annoyingly convenient arrows that lead nowhere. They removed the note at the start. This, the insane change in graphics I needed to do, and the fact that half of the interesting stuff in the game was removed in the "remake" update. Seriously, just keep the levels and the achievements. MAKE THE GAME LONGER. IT'S A GIFT TO MAKE A LONG BACKROOMS GAME THAT ISN'T CHEAP. Two. I can name a game better than this that has similar elements, like Psychological horror. Dreamcore, which has a powerful as HELL portrayal of the Poolrooms. It's a better Poolrooms area in general. In Dreamcore, it's bigger, scarier, and it feels like anything could come out and make you scream like a girl. As for this one, you know it won't be climatic when the main character says "Now I am all wet" SUCH A DORK NGL. It feels like you're playing as Mark Zuckerberg in a big pool with a running sound that sounds like something's chasing you, which is more annoying when nothing's even there. 4/10, there are better options, and this is still painfully mid for a BACKROOMS game...
The game is actually very good for a walking simulator The only reason I'm giving it a thumbs down is that the character needs to be able to walk much faster than he does. I actually have stopped playing because its so slow. If speeds is added, I play again and change my review. Overall a good job.
