Neon Ninja: Pixel Slasher

Neon Ninja: Pixel Slasher (aka Cyber Blade: Action Platformer, it's always great when the developer doesn't even know what their game is called) is yet another of several hundred, if not thousands of garbage low effort endless runners plaguing Steam. Like all endless/autorunners, you're moving and you can't stop. All you can do is avoid the obstacles coming at you in this incredibly shallow shovelware game. It's got platformer and slasher elements as you need to know when to jump and when to attack, making this somewhat complex for an autorunner because you need to use two buttons instead of one. What a tremendous contribution to the gaming industry this is. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. NOT RECOMMENDED - the demo version is more fun than the full one. You get a worse experience than the free riders. The demo levels are fine, though immediately afterwards it becomes outright sadistic. The game becomes LESS FUN in the full version. The "run from enemy bosses" footage is from the end of the game and there is only one of them. The whole movement mechanic of slashing advancing you is flawed because it forcibly jerks the screen forward without any pause for adjusting to the new position. That means you are practically playing the game BLIND by the end of the game (that is about 30 minutes in). If you want a game about blindness, get Blind Legend instead. You can see most of the game in the sample footage. It is that short. What is not shown is generally not worth seeing. Congrats you already have the most valuable parts of the game (the demo, the footage) for free. P.S. If you look at the back catalogue of this developer, you should know to not expect much. It is not worth much eater. I paid a dollar for this one and it was still overpriced. Yeah.

at first look this game is quite dark and grim, plus pixataled, I am personaly not a fan of that graphic style, but the gameplay mechanics turned out to be quite fun, sometimes it really tests you reflexes, I like the challenge when there are many enemies in a row

game's totaly ok, nice figting system and visual style, but I fell like it's too short at the moment, I would like to play many more levels, hope the dev will consider adding more levels and then I will change the review to positive
