Shadow Ninja: Apocalypse is a brutally challenging 2D action game where split-second timing and rhythm are everything as you navigate a gauntlet of traps and enemies in a relentless sprint for survival. With simple controls but punishing difficulty, each short run drives you to retry and push further than before.
You are a ninja in a ruined world. Traps, enemies and constant pressure surround you. Mistakes are not forgiven. Each run is an attempt to go further than before.
There are no complex systems here. Only movement, combat and survival.

Seeing the reviews for the game I expected it to be terrible, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was not that horrible nor did I have problems with the controls. However the game drags on for 85 very repetitive levels and is extremely boring. It doesn't introduce any new mechanics, or anything at all. Just the same thing over and over again. There were even a few levels where I wondered if the game bugged out and it replayed the same level because the beginning looked exactly like the previous levels. Works without any issues on Linux with Proton (9.0-4).2 found this helpful
