About NeverBound
NeverBound is the gravity-shifting shooter that adds another dimension to the traditional FPS. Take part in mind-bending combat and puzzles in multi-gravity environments. You are as dangerous from below as you are from above. Scale the walls and ceilings, or use long hallways as vertical drops, as you outmaneuver your enemies.
NeverBound takes place in a future where a fifth fundamental force of nature has been discovered. The technology quickly revolutionizes society and allows humans to simulate arbitrary directions of gravity. A new architecture for a new age arises, STRUCT, in which the flows of populous are greatly improved due to its multi-gravity nature.

The rules have changed. High ground is relative.
- Surprise your enemies from the inverted floor above.
- Throw grenades that can fall in any direction. Loop them around corners or let them float in Zero-G.
- Beat down your enemies and disrupt their gravity fields with the Gravity Baton.
- Conjure insurmountable forces to crush your foe under intense gravity.

Game is not finished and abandoned. Last update was in 2019 and nothing more happened.1 found this helpful
Twist and turn to fight your enemies! You can be upside down or right side up to fight your foes! This game has fun puzzles and fun combat! Have high hopes for this game! https://youtu.be/n2J4Nt3dG2M1 found this helpful
i haven't played much of the game at the time that i write this review but from what i have seen so far the game works great. My pc is a low end gaming laptop with a 1060 3 gb ram for vr and this game runs without any issues. the weapons feel great and have a nice kick to them and while the AI isnt too special the fact that you can switch the surface you are standing on gives this game a whole new way of thinking. But the best part of this game are the grenades, these little balls of certain doom give you the ability to change their gravity setting enabeling you to throw them at a guy standing on the ceiling below you. the freedom is insane with those (but so is the blast radius so be carefull). all in all i would love to see this game be more popular as in my eyes it is a hidden gem. but not all is positive. in the short while that i have played this game the floor gave way multiple times seemingly out of the blue. idk what caused it but you can notice that the early acces badge is required! all in all 8/101 found this helpful
So much potential, wasted
Left half baked in the sun
This is basically abandonware, but worth a sale buy just to experience the fun central mechanic.
*VID*
You can change your gravity orientation by teleporting to nodes on walls, or walking up curved intersections. Surprisingly light on nausea! Throw in some environmental puzzle gating, slow-time, and some grenades with their own definable gravity orientation, and you've got a whole lot of potential here. Much of which is explored in the two large levels available. It only really starts getting Escher-esque with the gunplay and orientation in the latter level, but when it hits the right notes on those fronts it's pretty damn great. There are some indie/EA style bugs still present (guards stretched like rubber through a closed door at one point, and I hit performance drops with the sniper rifle & one room featuring a display screen). Other than that it's pretty robust and has a decent spread of weapons, enemies and challenges. 3.5 +(+) / 5
