About New Yankee: Karma Tales
King Arthur has another assignment of incredible importance for the brave and powerful duo that is John and Mary. A normally-steady stream of silk, spices, curiosities and resources has dried up and it’s down to John, Mary and friends to find out why! What has happened to the raja usually responsible for the shipping of these goods? Is he in danger or is there another reason for his disappearance?
It is up to you to help John and Mary on their journey in search of the missing raja. Along the way new faces will be met, some of whom may even prove to be quite beneficial! On their search for the missing raja our heroes will encounter many trials and tribulations and it will be up to you to get through them.
Race against time as you point and click your way through beautiful landscapes. Repair and upgrade structures, collect resources, mine for gold and do so much more so that you may ensure safe passage! You may even have to dance a little along the way, solve a puzzle and discover a mantra here and there and even paint a picture or two!

this is one of the better (if not the best) modern casual time management games around. it is challenging and diverse. the art style is a little bit ugly, but it adds charm. definitely recommended :)2 found this helpful
Every level has so many things happening at the same time. It's too "busy", and the storytelling was a bit lengthy. The group has too many characters, but only the workers do all the work. Each level takes a lot of time because there are too many things to do, and some tasks are not straightforward. You can't complete a particular task until you "unblock" the special character. But unblocking the path for the "special character" doesn't mean he can do the work because his skill is only limited to a specific task, and gathering the resources for upgrades requires too much effort. Towards the end of the level, it feels like two levels squeeze into one. I feel I'm more exhausted than John because John only gets called for killing snakes or hitting the gong to get rid of the succubus. And Mary is just walking around waiting to be called whenever you need more trees or gold.1 found this helpful

[h3] Excellent game. [/h3] [b]This is one of the best games of this genre. [/b] It took a few levels to get into the swing of it then it was 'I'll just do one more ... ' The achievements can be challenging but very do-able. There are several puzzles in addition to the main story levels. Looking forward to playing more on the series.

I just love New Yankee. Got them all, and have never ever been disapppointed. If you like good time management games - buy it. Heck buy them all!
