Full playthrough here: https://youtu.be/ZFcfhlKwv48 At the moment it's extremely short and no replay value's the biggest knock on the game even if it's early access it's about 8 dollars for an hour of play if you first try through the game. The main source of difficulty in the game is how many floors there are I think I was more stressed over dying and having to restart than the enemies I was fighting. The bosses all have a strong weakness which ends up making them not much of a threat and the pattern is pretty simplistic for the most part. There are not many enemies at the moment so once you figure them out you're pretty safe. I also wish the creators would have the enemies be a different color palette than the background I'm not sure if that's a throwback to old game boy colored games, but I feel like most of the time I took damage was mainly because something was camouflaged into the background making me confused as to what was hitting me. I did enjoy the loot system because it seemed like my choices mattered quite a bit for the style of gameplay, but I didn't see a variety of weapons or weapon effects. The Hydrant system is neat as it can force you into some pretty sketchy sc…

Absolutely a nifty experience if you enjoy crawlers like binding of issac. I love the fire hydrant system and how I use one stick to fire and the other to move. I found it pretty easy to get lost on floors wondering where the boss door is so perhaps a map would benefit the player? Bosses were quite easy, most of my deaths was because of my own stupidity or just poor positioning/planning. A trap chest pinned me to a wall and i just died with no chance to escape. But it's fine. haha. The enemies are quite simple to navigate and defeat otherwise, each having it's unique quirk. I am loving the hats in the game too. items are easy to buy if you are exploring every room and each one adds a variety of strategies depending on your load out. For an early access game, it shows much promise, and i'm hoping that more content is added to increase replay-ability! Keep on Keeping on CaffNight thank you for a fun experience!

I played about an hour of this game and reached up to the Anubis boss fight in my best run. From what I've played so far, the game is a blast! The charming art style and design, challenging battles, awesome concept and overall satisfying feel to the game keeps it fresh and fun every play-through. Rogue-likes are always challenging to make. The struggle to try to get players to keep on going after they die is always hard, but "No Water in Hell" had no struggle with this. I found myself going back into hell without thought. I was always looking forward to new bosses to fight and new levels to explore. Can I just say that I love the art style! The cute little firefighter and skeletons and the terrifying bosses makes it intimidating to fight bosses which makes it satisfying to beat them. All of the designs for the bosses are just epic, and I keep delving into hell hoping to see more of them. I hope one day to beat the game, and I hope that the game "No Water in Hell" gets the attention it deserves.

I played the game for a little and was able to beat 4 bosses! Interesting mechanics and fun gameplay/music, one thing I must say is that it was hard to keep track of the pointer while aiming with the mouse, other than that, great job!

cool concept, needs a better/brighter cursor. found myself wondering where it was. make health more rare to find. and boss fights shouldn't regen health. makes the game way to easy.

I cover a wide range of genres both paid and unpaid, providing unbiased opinions as well as regular giveaway events.

I don't get it honestly...
It's obviously a mash-up of The Binding of Isaac and other Roguelike experiences, but the whole concept of going into hell to fight demons with a watering hose is very alien to me, with the many different fire hydrants scattered about (3-5 per room) as the mechanic to reload and being used as blockades like crates but doing nothing because you can just walk in between them. It claims to be a procedurally generated dungeon, yet each dungeon room I explored I had already seen it not even a few rooms ago indicating that this is not true. It does repeat the layout and the demons positions from my experience. One thing I couldn't get over on the second floor was how difficult it was to see the projectiles and threats because everything kind of blended into the background? The first floor had the standard black pits that you walk on and fall into to receive damage, however the second floor instead had a green/cyan c…
