Nocturnal Quest: An Idle RPG Adventure

Uninstalling this garbage. How do you make an “idle” RPG that requires players to keep their PC running 24/7 just to make progress? That completely defeats the entire concept of an idle game. The game is already ridiculously grindy, and on top of that, you have to leave it running even after sending your army into combat. You’re literally not doing anything. You’re not playing. You’re just keeping a window open so the game can pretend it’s an idle system. Turn the game off? Progress stops. Close the game? Your “idle” adventure apparently goes on vacation too. That is one of the dumbest implementations of an idle mechanic I’ve seen. If the game needs to be running constantly for basic idle progression to work, then just call it an AFK game and stop pretending it’s an idle RPG. I wouldn’t spend a single cent on this. The developers need to seriously rethink what “idle” actually means. Uninstalled. Not worth the storage space.

Tough one. It is fun for a while, but as you progress the crafting system gets more and more bloated and tedious. And once you've unlocked all the zones, it is only a matter of grinding to see how high you can get. So, enjoy it for a few days and move on is my recommendation.

Nocturnal Quest: An Idle RPG Adventure is a free idle RPG that combines automatic progression with traditional fantasy adventure systems. Instead of controlling every battle directly, I mainly build my character, choose upgrades and let the game handle much of the fighting for me. It is designed around the idea of making progress even when I am not actively playing, which makes it easy to dip into for short sessions. The progression is the main attraction for me. I can collect resources, improve my character and unlock stronger abilities while gradually taking on tougher enemies. There is something satisfying about returning to the game and discovering that my character has earned enough rewards to buy another upgrade. I also like that it still tries to feel like an RPG rather than being nothing more than a number generator. There are different pieces of equipment and character improvements to work towards, and the fantasy setting gives the progression a little more context. Even when the actual combat is automated, I still have decisions to make about how I want to develop my character.
