"Notified" is an incredibly simplistic, minimalist (or just low effort) Pong ripoff arcade game that's about 7 years old and looks 37. What's the game about, according to the developer? Notified subjects players to a relentless stream of on-screen notifications they must constantly manage. Gameplay revolves around reacting to this barrage, forcing reliance on specific abilities like Airplane Mode to clear the screen, Battery Drain to impede an opponent, and Quick Charge just to keep up. Success hinges merely on quick reactions and anticipating the next wave of interruptions in this frantic experience. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy". Yes, contemporary 3D graphics take a lot of time and effort to create. That doesn't mean it's okay not to bother! Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason.
