Guys, I've been playing a lot of horde shooters lately, but this one's look is my favorite so far. If you like "20 minutes till Dawn" and "Vampire Survivors" you'll probably like this one. And the demo is free, so that's a super plus.

"Noxious Weeds: Prologue" is an unabashed, lazy ripoff of Vampire Survivors (Copyright Poncle, 2021). Many lazy "amateur" developers don't pay attention to their obligations under copyright law, and often steal the ideas of actual, real game developers without credit, such as the "developer" here has done. Putting aside the unethical intellectual, creative and moral bankruptcy of stealing someone else's game concept, this is also breaking that unwritten law of stealing other people's game ideas... you should at least try to do better than the game you're ripping off. "Noxious Weeds: Prologue" is considerably worse than Vampire Survivors. The only differentiator here is significantly lower quality and variety than Vampire Survivors, a pointless and unengaging "plants" theme, even more obscure in-game instructions/tooltips, and a crappy day/night scheme that just makes the whole experience of playing a worse version of Vampire Survivors even more awful. The developers abandoned this almost 2 years ago, it will never be a complete ripoff of Vampire Survivors, just an incomplete ripoff of Vampire Survivors. Good game but I do have one complaint. The unlockable character, the orchadist, feels a lot worse than the main character. I feel it would be better if the unlock order has the orchadist was the starting character and the farmer was the unlockable one. Idk if this has been fixed in the main game but it was just a small gripe. Amazing game nevertheless
