The gameplay is simple: conquer all enemy-controlled regions on a map to win. But beneath that straightforward objective lies a surprisingly rich blend of strategy, upgrade mechanics, and moment-to-moment tactical decisions. Each stage is a unique battlefield made up of several interconnected regions. You begin in one territory, the enemy in another, and your mission is to spread out, conquer new ground, and eventually wipe out your foes. Interestingly, you don’t need to capture every region, only those occupied by enemies. Still, some maps feature multiple opponents who will even fight each other, giving you a lot to worry about. The heart of the gameplay revolves around soldier production. Every territory you control generates one new soldier per second, so the more land you hold, the faster your army grows. The key is momentum: strike early, capture undefended or lightly guarded territories, and snowball your advantage. Destroy the enemy’s final castle, and they lose their only spawn point, and the game. Combat and conquest are entirely number-based. Each territory displays a number indicating its troop count.
