About Octave
Octave is a point 'n click horror-adventure game with elements of action and quest.
You play the role of a guy who happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. You are dragged into a dark forest, but on the verge of death, you are mysteriously saved from your killer by a someone or something.
As you venture deeper into the woods you find yourself surrounded by atrocity. You realise that salvation can turn out to be a real nightmare. All the way through fear you seek out the mysteries of the dark forest.
The struggle for life has only just begun!

Aimless wander. Story: You play as an unnamed man, who finds himself dragged to a field and about to be executed, however his would be killer finds himself torn apart by an evil creature. Freed, you find yourself trying to escape the now dangerous world around you. That little description is about all you can muster from the opening scene as in Octave doesn't really have any story whatsoever. It's a very much you piece it all together and everyone will have a different opinion on what happened in the so called story, but that doesn't help much. Mostly because the game's levels are just levels that don't link together and just confuse you more than anything. Graphics: Visuals are a 100% Octave strongest feature. It has an absolutely phenomenal art style and it just oozes atmosphere, each location looks great and my only wish was that there wasn't this much filler. There's quite a few screens that just don't serve any purpose and are there just to pad out the game. One thing that I'm not really too huge on is the animations. Idk if its me, but im stuck and cant move backwards nor forwards. Besides, it seems like an awful little game someone crafted by themselves - very cringy and probably not worth it. Im on a quest of at least trying every game in my library, so dont judge me :D (i probably got it through some sort of bundle)1 found this helpful
Really short 30-60 minute game with a decent horror element, but because it's so short there are only a few of them I recommend only getting game with discount
