The Darkest Woods is a survival horror adventure where you wake up lost in a mysterious forest with no memory and must uncover the truth while managing scarce resources and making choices that can lead to multiple endings. Inspired by classic horror flash games, it prioritizes atmospheric storytelling and meaningful decisions over graphics, challenging you to survive through puzzle-solving and careful inventory management.
Idea
Do you remember those horror flash games? Early quests? Well this is the idea.
Nowadays everyone wants to sell games with ultra-high graphics, which requires a lot of DLC to get a well-made game.
But we want to bring you a story. A story that you can feel without super graphics or paying a lot of money. We want you to go through the game interested and thrilled.
We hope you like this game, so we could encourage ourselves to make the second part.

Yes, very much recommended! Granted, It's a borderline flash game. But It's a passion project, and at sale price, It's worth it. Most puzzles are logical, and bar a few situations where you might need to die to figure it out, It's perfectly fair.
