Who would you join?Manipulate the black duck to take human energy. Taking up a lot of energy can kill humans, and sometimes witnesses. If you let them run scared, the black duck could be in danger.Normally no one notices the little duck's covert behavior, but sometimes there are attack NPCs that see through the duck's black magic, resulting in a battle. Run up, down, jump, and roll to avoid the attack.While 'Odile' is a story-heavy game, most of the text is delivered through the NPC's speech bubble without stopping gameplay. SCG dialogue events only come at a level where the story does not interfere with gameplay and helps you immerse yourself.Perform belt-scrolling action on three stages: the palace, the temple, and the tavern.And experience 28 multi-endings.You can now play through the Palace Route, Temple Route, and Pub Route.Collect all 28 different endings that await you depending on your choices!

It's a very interesting game, and while I do recommend it, it comes with a big asterisk regarding one of the main components of the game: the combat. There's MASSIVE difficulty spikes in the boss battles at the end of each route. For example, the boss in the temple route is you versus a 10+ hostile NPCs along with a boss and a separate NPC that will keep dumping shields on top of EVERYONE's uh, 'soul pool' (the rotation of things you can gather when sucking NPCs souls). Even if you kill the adds, more will spawn immediately and there's very few chances of regaining health. Not to mention all the adds have a ton of health to begin with. Overall, combat in general is a bit of a mess because getting caught can either mean an instant failure if you get caught in combat in front of specific NPCs or because more NPCs will keep spawning who will also become aggro'd once they see other NPCs attacking you. If there was some ability to hide at the cost of absorbed dark energy or by having specific objects in the levels to hide in, that'd drastically improve the game, I think. It's absurd that such a little duck has such a hard time of hiding when for most of all the routes, she canonically b…4 found this helpful
What could have been nice little game with rudementary mechanics and overly melodramatic story is utterly destroyed by the fact that each route ends in "boss", and they all are designed by a complete imbecile. At least out of 3, pub fight feels "fair" (except for absurdly large health pool) until you realize that there is an achievment for finishing it hitless ... and you have to take a hit to gain ability to fight back. Finishing temple without killing any npc's (which you need for one of the endings) is outright impossible since all of your attacks are AoE and there is giant horde running at you. Until this circus is patched out, stay away.3 found this helpful
