Once upon a time

"Once upon a time" is just a low key asset flip.. the quality of the sometimes mismatched looking assets is suspiciously much higher than the actual game is, and that's a glaring mismatch. Who's going to create a bunch of high quality assets and then phone in the actual game? It doesn't add up... unless you consider how easy it is for anyone, even people unqualified to make games, to get any and all the game assets they want. The game is essentially a kitbash of assets made by other people, poorly assembled by an amateur developer. These projects are usually rushed through Steam Direct as fast as possible, and the lack of professional standards means the end result is something no gamer should waste their time on. This is, I guess at least a well intentioned asset flip, the developer grabbed a bunch of assets from the Unity Asset Store and tried to make an adventure game with them, of course the result is a mangled mess with inexplicable demands to use a console peasant toy gamepad, utterly annoying controls, and pure jank in terms of gameplay... it's thoroughly unoptimised and barely runs on any gaming rig. Хотя иногда игра может затянуться, если игроки не очень хорошо знакомы с правилами или испытывают трудности с импровизацией, в целом это отличный способ провести время с друзьями и семьей, погрузившись в мир сказок и веселой импровизации. "Once Upon a Time" развивает воображение, навыки повествования и умение взаимодействовать с другими игроками, делая каждый игровой сеанс уникальным и запоминающимся.

The only good thing about this game is the graphics. They look pretty decent, especially for 2017. The music is also not awful (I have endured a lot worse), but that's all that's good about this game. Didn't even get past the first level and I was experiencing issues. The items that the game gives you (2 bottles and a scroll) give you [i]very little[/i] hints as to what to do on the first part of the game. I spent 10 minutes messing with interactable swords (Which didn't do anything so what's the point in them??) until I figured out you needed to ascend a ladder and turn something hanging on the wall. The next portion of the game (A chapel with a pink wall that kills you if you go too close for too long) is darn near impossible to complete as the game gives you 0 instructions and 0 hints as to how you complete it. Remember, this is just the [i]tutorial[/i], not the game itself, so I can only imagine how much more difficult the rest of the game is! Mechanics aside, some of the menus look rather unfinished, as well as the camera being an absolute [b]nightmare[/b] to turn as it moves too slowly, then will sometimes jump around.
