Game's fun, cute and with a certain patch a lil spicy.

I had considered not recommending this game because the current price dances a fine line between being justified and not. I think the game can get away with its mistakes because it gives you everything you would expect, but I wouldn't see myself playing anything like this again soon. The game doesn't make the effort to polish the experience, so you do not feel much at the end. For a basic FPS, this game gives you everything you need; various enemies with unique attack patterns, side content in the menu, a sizable store and enough challenges for you to complete. With the unique quality of constantly introducing new game modes, this should have been enough to easily recommend this game. But with how clunky some things are, it can be hard not to call this game an asset flip. There are quite a few things that make me say this. The models have bad jiggle physics and are incomplete (missing vegetas), the gun models aren't imported properly and look like they belong in a different game, the loading cinematics is too numerous and long, most upgrades you can get aren't clear on what they do or aren't sorted properly (cosmetic vs practical), sometimes levels have long stretches of nothing…

It's such a fun and creative game despite being a bit janky. The 18+ part is good, but it could be better. And it really could use an actual translator as the automatic one haven't done a good job. I mean it's possible to follow the story, but there are some moments that left me very confused. I'm looking forward to new games from CQC Software and I wish them all the best as they are very promising hentai creator. Oh! And I had no problems running it on Linux with is a huge plus.

fix the shotgun, the spread of bullets does not work like real one and what do you mean it can only one shot enemy on the center and not the left and right one??

Oedo Trigger Is a pretty decent game, it can be abit short, however it is fun. So with that out of the way my experience and review will begin. First off it does have a 18+ patch to replace the smoke/clouds with mosaic pixels, some may find what is the point of the patch, why not have it fully nude. Well the developer lives in Japan, they are open to freedom of expression but full nudity is deemed illegal, so they are meeting their customers halfway. There are a few translation errors but if your fluent or a native english speaker it won't put you off because your brain will automatically add/correct the sentences. One such error could and could also not be an error, and that is when you meet the female samurai the narration calls her a "he" constantly. This could be an error in translation but it could be see as correct in english because during the Edo period (i think that's when it says this game takes place.) Female samurai were called he/him as a sign of respect as a honorable warrior, it afforded them titles/respect normal women couldn't obtain.
